Well, I goofed up yesterday when I got to the Anchor River. I thought high tide was at 11 PM, but it was at 4:30 PM. I could have fished. I realized later that I didn’t want to fish at 9 to 12 PM, so I went to bed early.
I woke up at 10 this morning, and went back to sleep. I first left the van at 5 PM, lounging, napping, and browsing the Internet all morning / day. I was exhausted from 3 long days of driving, and my body told me to not go fishing today. It kind of helped that is has been raining hard all last night and today. So, nothing exciting, except for some pictures from the end of the road at Homer.
Tight Lines!
Happy Friday Shane,
Finished blogs 62-70 and I’m tired reading your adventures. The Grayling trip was a winner for sure. That memory will stay with you a long time. The picture of you cleaning your van looked like the Mounties checking your van for drugs, being from CA and all . Now it’s on to Homer and the crown jewel of the trip. Look forward to hear the stories and see the pictures. As always, be safe and tight lines. Don
