It rained all night. The rain drops that fall intermittently from the overhanging branches sound like someone messing with the van. Not funny, Mother Nature. I’m tired of cold cuts, cheese, and low carb tortilla wraps, so I’ve been having a meal a day at the Sunset Inn. I’m now a regular, even though I’m a tourist. One of the cooks caught me in the parking lot (scared???), and he said he was happy that I kept coming back, because that shows that they must be doing things right. Well, they are. The food is great and $5 cheaper than the next closest place, so all is well.
Today. Rain. Rain. Rain. Tomorrow, Clear and Sunny. Then, 6 days in a row with 60% chance of rain. My wet clothes from the other day are dryish, but they smell awful. Merino Wool doesn’t hold odor so the foul smell must be in the moisture in the clothes. Hopefully I can air out the van and my clothes tomorrow.
Too much rain for me. Time to plan for tomorrow.
Tight Lines!
