I went out two nights ago to the 10 Mile lake area of Lewiston Lake. In two hours I had 15 hookups, landing 11. Not a bad outing, but almost exactly 50% of the activity I had the last time out, a couple of days before.
I have completed work on my 1968 12-foot aluminum Klamath Trailorboat. The new boat leaks a little but all is well as I have an automatic bilge pump placed in the boat. After two days of sitting in the water, the pump goes on for about 5-10 seconds when I move to the back of the boat

But this post is about my old boat, my first boat, my 12 year old boat. My Sundolphin Pro 120 is an 11′ 1″ mini-bass boat. I loved sitting in the front seat while trolling around looking for active fish. However, with my size the water level is only 2 to 4 inches below the top of the deck. Add to the small size of the deck and that I get unstable and dizzy getting up out of a seat, the boat is no longer a good fit for me….literally.
So, I’ll be selling it cheap. I’m adding an 50 amp-hr agm battery, a minn kota 40 pound thrust trolling motor, and a bimini top. The trailer goes along with it. Price new for everything would be around $3000 including the trailer. I’ll be asking 15 to 20% of original cost ($450 to $600), a fair price imho.
Since I have about $450 to $600 in my new boat, things might work out great in the Universe as a break even swap out of boats. Regardless, I loved this boat, and love my new boat. Now it is time to sell the old boat, and get out on the lake in the new boat.
Tight Lines!
