I’m in my second full day at my new place: A fishing shack near some water. I have an 8 x 12 shed full of stuff I brought over. However, I can hardly move in my place. AND, I have to find a solution for placement of the cat litter box: WOW! I’m surviving by cleaning the box out regularly.
It is weird not being able to drive to Safeway, Burre Center, Large Stores (Target, Walmart, etc.). I’m 30 minutes in the boonies outside Weaverville, CA. The good news is that I am in an outdoor paradise. Fishing (creeks, lakes, rivers (Steelhead)), hiking, hunting, gold panning, are all within a 15 minute drive. This is a huge change in lifestyle but one I’ve always dreamed of.
And, I have my boat docked at my home water, Lewiston Lake. The winter is supposed to be fantastic midge fishing on the lake. I will do my best to confirm or accept defeat using my midge strategies.
My near future is sorting, sorting, and sorting. Hopefully in a week or two I can fish daily knowing that I have a clean, clear place to come back to.
